Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. was an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was raised in the theatre of her family, with her father, Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City 1990. The year 1990 was the year she started the beginning of her Broadway career. She was praised for both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
