Molly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She began her professional stage career when she was thirteen in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Following that, Molly portrayed Little Red Ridinghood for the Arden Theater s Into the Woods and received a nomination for the Barrymore Award. This role she performed again in her Broadway debut at fifteen with Into the Woods, on Broadway. She was also nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly was also in Broadway for the revival in Fiddler on the Roof. Following her graduation from Princeton University, where she was awarded a B.A. in Religion, and became a Triangle Club member, Molly went on to attend Princeton University.
